Fedora for Rick st Dennis

I totally thought I posted this but as it turns out I didn't, so here goes:

My take on the fabulous Fedora image by Rick St Dennis, an amazing digital image, a joy to work with! The challenge was an invitation in blue with feathers and rhinestones but no flowers allowed.

DCD - use a food themed digi

This fortnight at Die Cut Dreams the challenge is to use a food themed digital image. The DT got some images from Digis with Attitude and I chose to make a recipe card using my image.

And many thanks to the lovely Susie Sugar for the well used and absolutely delicious recipe!

Kenny K card

Today I've been busy demolishing an old lamp - you know the crystal chandeler thingies that were so popular in the beginning of the 90s, not the gorgeous old lamps, no the really tacky gold plated ones... I have somewhat of an idea but we'll see how it turns out =)

And I have a card for the Kenny K´s Krafty Girlz where the theme is aquamarine. I made a card where the envelope is the actual card, or the card is the actual envelope or... well, you know what I mean... moving on...

We've adjusted the time an hour forward today cause it was time to change from wintertime to summertime... yeah right, it snowed today so summer feels so just around the corner... bleeeeh!

But tomorrow it's Monday, woohoo! =)

Allsorts - for a special lady

Last week was fabulous with all the great blogs I visited, thank you all box-makers! Winner and top 5 is on the Allsorts challenge page. And now over to this week's challenge. It's time to make something For a Special Lady.

I made a card for a special young lady who turned three not long ago, using a stamp from Bildmalarna. It looks just like her =).

Allsorts - make a gift box

Morning,
it's time for another challenge at Allsorts and this week I will be hosting it. I want you to make a gift box cause that is something that I totally love. And it gives me a great opportunity to hop around and get inspiration - and perhaps a new template or two - from all the participants this week. Yey me! =)

I decided to finally have a go at the book box that has become so popular (tutorial here). With stamps from Magnolia, Whimsy stamps (ticket) and Skogstokiga (the lace circle) and flowers from Wild Orchid I think it turned out rather nicely.

Other challenges:

Stamp something - something sweet

Just Magnolia - favourite colour combo (brown and gold)

Totally Tilda - chipboard (the swirl with the flowers is cut in thin chipboard, glorious material)

Secret Crafter Saturday challenge - anything but a card

DCD - Mother's Day or Special Friend

The theme at Die Cut Dreams this fortnight is Mother's Day or Special Friend and since Mother's Day in Sweden is celebrated another date than in the UK I chose to do a card for a Special Friend.

The backing paper is stamped and distressed with Victorian Velvet and Spun Sugar and the Magnolia image is coloured with Aged Mahogany.

Allsorts - luck of the Irish

This week at Allsorts the theme is Luck of the Irish with St Patrick's Day in mind - another one of those events that we don't celebrate here in Sweden =). Other challenges:

Stamp something - something cream and green

Kaboodle doodle - go green

Shabby Tea room - luck of the Irish

WoyWW

Morning,
my workdesk this morning had this nearly finished card that I left to dry yesterday evening. Since we're on sports holiday this week I thought I would get lots of time to craft but that hasn't been the case but at least the house is cleaner than usual. I can't have it all, now can I? =)

Anyhow, the finished card is for Just Magnolia's challenge Anything goes with extra option of glitter. The sentiment is computer generated, downloadable here.

Clippings for Rick st Dennis

It is finally live on Rick's site now so here it is - my first DT assignment for Rick st Dennis:

I got these adorable flowers with elvish faces to make something spring-like. I started with a plain white flower pot

And with the help of some distressed designer paper, lace and pearls turned it into this:

I also made some flower sticks to make the young plants look a bit more colourful where they are, waiting to be planted in the garden a long, long time from now =)

Allsorts - card for a teenager

This week at Allsorts the theme is Birthday card for a teenager. I decided to go all in and challenge myself with a card for a teenage boy =).

I used this Greeting farm image but swapped the head cause I didn't like the hair on the original image. Turned out rather cool =).

SFTW - spring time

Morning,
it's time for another fortnightly challenge at Stampin for the Weekend and the theme is Spring time. I liked the bag I did a while back and I adore the papers from Pion Design (Fairytale of Spring) so I decided to make another one, this time using a baby Hanglar image. Coloured with distress ink Antique Linen and Dusty Concord.

Penny Black @ Allsorts - Welcome spring

The theme for March at Penny Black @ Allsorts is Welcome spring and I am guest designer this month. As usual there are magnificent prizes to be won so hurry over and check out the challenge and all the great inspiration provided by the talented design team.

I used this gorgeous image given to me by a dear blog friend, coloured it with distress inks and went for an orange colour combo. Not my first choice of colours but it's warm and spring-like and it worked out really well =).
